WASHINGTON – The IT Alliance for the Public Sector (ITAPS), a division of ITI, released the following statement today from Senior Vice President for the Public Sector Trey Hodgkins, following the Senate passage of the FY18 budget, which included key government IT modernization provisions.

“Today, the Senate brought us a step closer to ensuring the government can make the IT investments it needs. This will allow the government to modernize its IT system, protect Americans’ sensitive information online, save taxpayer dollars, and offers contractors a better sense of funding stability. We commend the Senate for prioritizing this issue and we will continue to work with Congress and the administration on our shared goal of updating our government’s technology into the 21st century.”
